Heather Locklear was a familiar face on our TVs in the ’80s and ’90s. The actress, born in California, was well-known for her role as glamorous Sammy Jo Carrington in the TV show Dynasty.

But here’s something interesting – Heather has a daughter! And guess what? Her only child looks a lot like her famous mom!

Heather Locklear was born in Los Angeles in 1961, and now, at 61, she’s still doing well. She became famous in the early 1980s, especially for her role as Sammy Jo Carrington in the TV show Dynasty. People thought she looked like an angel with a face like a Disney princess.

Some may have seen her as just another pretty blonde actress, but her role on Melrose Place showed a different side – she played a strong and interesting character. Heather received four Golden Globe nominations for her role as Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place, proving she was a talented actress. But to understand her career fully, you also need to know about her personal life.

In the 1980s, Heather was often seen with rock stars. She was married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, but they divorced in 1993. Later, she married Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora. They had a civil ceremony in New Jersey in 1994 and a big wedding in Paris. Heather and Richie were married for 13 years and had their only child, daughter Ava Sambora.

Ava was born on October 4, 1997, and her childhood wasn’t ordinary. She often appeared on stage during Jon Bon Jovi’s concerts, introducing the band and even dancing with them.

Growing up as the child of two big stars could have been tough, but Ava seems to have turned out well. Today, she is a smart and highly-educated woman.

When Ava was in high school, she enjoyed being a cheerleader and loved the excitement of being thrown in the air.

In 2020, Ava finished college at Loyola Marymount University, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a perfect GPA of 4.0. After that, she decided to continue her studies and is now working towards a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at the University of Southern California.

Ava has also stepped into the acting world, following in her famous mother’s footsteps. At 25, she made her acting debut in the movie “This Is 40.” Additionally, in 2010, she walked the runway for her father’s clothing line, “White Trash Beautiful,” during Los Angeles Fashion Weekend.

In 2020, Ava shared a picture of herself in a dress holding tulips, and many people commented on how much she looks like her famous mom.

Ava posted a picture in a leopard-print dress with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, saying, “I like flowers” and tagging her friend Sarah Wermers. Someone commented, “You truly are a stunning beauty, taking after your beautiful mother!!”

In recent photos and videos, people think Ava looks a lot like Heather did in her TJ Hooker days. When Ava was interviewed by ET, someone commented, “My gosh, she is her mother, even her voice sounds like Heather’s.”

However, not everyone sees a big resemblance. Some say Ava and Heather are both beautiful but don’t look extremely alike.

Ava’s 61-year-old mom, Heather, recently posted on Instagram, sharing pictures to congratulate her daughter on graduating from LMU.

Ava, the 25-year-old blonde, seems like a really nice person with her priorities in order. She and her mom, Heather, are very close. Ava told US Weekly in 2018 that she’d “love to follow in my mother’s footsteps” in her career.

Ava’s latest acting role was in 2020 when she starred in a crime-thriller called “A Dark Foe” with Selma Blair. Hopefully, we’ll see more of her in the future!

Besides doing well in school and acting, Ava has also found love. She is in a relationship with Tyler Farrar, who works as an investment associate at Pacific Partners Real Estate Investments. They’ve been dating since 2019.

Seeing recent pictures of Ava brings back memories of the ’80s. It’s like taking a step back in time. I mean, could you find better-looking genes from parents? Maybe from Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber?

It looks like Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora did a great job in raising this young lady. Ava sees very down to earth and mature! Much kudos and love!
