Leopards often avoid confrontations with hyenas, but in some cases, they are willing to do anything to get their prey. A clip was recorded when a leopard actively rushed to steal prey from a hyena.
The clip begins with leopards on one side and hyenas on the other, locked in a fight for survival, with the prize being the carcass of an antelope. It can be seen that even though the leopard’s size is smaller, it still actively rushes in, distracting the enemy from its prey.
However, the leopard’s initiative is not enough to threaten the exceptionally large, and equally fearless, hyena. If bitten by a hyena, a leopard will likely be seriously injured, or even die.
The leopard was so ferocious that the hyena did not dare to attack again. It can even become prey for leopards if not careful. In the end, the hyena had to run away because of his own cowardice.
