Blue Violet Syrup Recipe

Blue Violet Leaf syrup is often used for respiratory ailments, asthma, colds, coughing, lung cancer, sore throat and more.

Ingredients:

* 1 ¼ oz of dried Blue Violet Leaf (Viola odorata)

* 1 ¼ quarts of purified water

* 3 quarts of  raw honey (roughly)

In a glass jar, place the violets and fill the jar just to cover the flowers with boiling water.

Let sit covered for 24 hours.

After 24 hours, pour the violet “tea” into a fine-mesh strainer. Transport the mixture to a saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring, over medium heat. Add the honey. Stirring occasionally for about 45 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Label and store in a cool place. Once a jar is opened for use refrigerate it.
